    How do we remove dried grout from tile surface?

    It should just scrape off. Having it damp may help. Use something hard, but don't push hard enough to damage the glaze.

    Could it be glue? That may come off easier with a solvent.

    Begin with the obvious and scrape off large pieces as RTW suggested... ;)

    Then, try a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and warm water and try to soak the dried grout by wetting napkins/paper towels set over area you are trying to clean.

    Once wetted well, use a scrubbie like one by 3M that does not break down and discolor grout joints.

    Try this and let us know how it goes. There are other ways, too... but try this first as it is the SAFEST for you to try.

    Others may also have other ideas so keep checking back for more ideas/answers.

    Also, please let us know if this is all over the floor, how thick it is, how long it has been dried on and what kind of tile... thanks.
