    Grout not drying
I recently tiled a kitchen countertop. I grouted within two days but had to stop the process due to the birth of my child. Since then, stains have formed SO I re-grouted the whole countertop again filling in the spaces I missed before. On the other side of my kithcen I grouted a work space with the same grout used the second time. The work space has completely dried and looks great. The spaces I missed on the kitchen countertops previously are a darker color than the work space, and it almost looks wet. Can anyone explain because it looks horrible!!

The color of the grout will vary from how much grout to water mix you use. If your like me you mix up the grout and just keep adding water till you can work with it, which is fine when your making enough but if you stop and go back this can happen, you may try and regrout it all again, just a lite coat , this may help even it out somewhat
