    Ceiling paint
    Had drywall repair done on ceiling, painted that area with good primer. Painted entire ceiling white, drywall area still appeared. Painted drywall area several more times. Still shows... What do I do to correct this problem?

    Kilz is an excellent primer, covers stains, works well. If patch job very bad, spray texture out of a can may cover, tape off walls.

    Kilz Is What We Use Also. If I Had To Guess, Id Say The Drywall Wasn't Sanded Enough, It May have been Really Thick,
    My Best Advise It To Reprime It All With Kilz And Prime The Drywall An Extra Time

    What you may be seeing is a difference in texture not color. Get a good PVA primer. It is sort of like a diluted glue. It's designed to even out the texture of sheetrock and plaster.Then paint as normal.
