Bathroom Door Binds
Bathroom door suddenly rubs. Tightened the hinges did not help. Maybe moisture has
Swollen the door. I guess I need to sand it a bit, I see where it binds. I wonder what grit
Sandpaper I should use in my BD finishing sander? Or another solution?

Assuming that binding is at the top. Open door completely. Put a block of wood on top hinge, strike with hammer. If door opens and closes without binding, run a screw in between the hinge and door stop material.

Where exactly is it binding at? Is the gap between the door and the frame equal on the top and the bottom when its open, and closed? Are all the hinge and latch screws tight and secure? Is the gap between the floor and door even throughout the width of the door?
Have you inspected the framing boards around the door? Unless you have painted the door and frame recently, sanding is NOT the first step in fixing a door that binds.

Finished painted Bathroom Door has been in about a couple of years. Rubbing is about the middle of the door. Also the closet door near the bathroom rubs also near the bottom. Bottom of the doors are okay

Next step using a level check your floors around the door, and look around for any signs of cracks in the walls or ceiling. Is this a slab home, got a basement, or crawl space? Could the ground be shifting, or the home settling? You would be surprised at all the things that can affect the doors and windows and foundations of a home.

I fixed it. I used a 3 inch screw on the hinges. The existing screws were very small
Only 2 inches
