I went to get a non imm visa and I was turned down. They say my spouse needs to file
Last year I went to get a non imm visa. I was turned down as the that my husband needs to file for me. He has just received his citizenship this month and is also presently in the U.S.Army. He should be putting in the paper work and now would like to know if there is no way I can travel to visit him as I would like to be involved in his army life. I want to know how long the filing will take if it starts February... is it a possibility that I can go back to the embassy and get through just to travel temp until evrything is ready I am also attending fill time school in Jamaica. I REALLY NEED HELP!! Thanks in advance for the response

So you're married to a US citizen... have your husband file immigrant visa for spouse. It takes about 12-14 months... you don't have any other option.
