I have a valid visa from my old school 2012. I transferred to another school and I'm planning to go home for the holiday. Did I need to get a new visa?

If your visa covers the period indicated in I-20, and your trip is shorter than 5 months, you don't need to apply for a new visa. Make sure the new I-20 is endorsed by the new school.. Good luck.
