    If I got married before my citizenship date what would it affect
    I am waiting to become a citizen of the US in about a year, what would happen if I got married before then, does that have an affect on my citizen status.

    No, but it may cause difficulty to your wife's application. The best bet is become naturalized first, then get married. It will be much faster to get him/her here.
