How can we find out about immigration status?
I got married with my husband. I put in papers for him and its been 3 years since that and he hasn't heard anything. We paid the lawyer and now he doesn't answer our phone calls. We have been hearing that many people are getting there pardon appointment for June and we haven't received anything. What can we do to find out what's happening? Please help

You are aware there is a up to a 12 year waiting list with some countries.

Three years is nothing...and even paying a lawyer doesn't guarantee you he will ever get it. I know people who paid lawyers and fought over 10 years....and ended up with a court ruling they will never get one.

Why would he be expecting a pardon?

You need to be more specific. What does "put in papers" mean? What exactly did he apply for? What's this "pardon appointment" you mentioned? Did he apply for Adjustment of Status? Or did he apply for a waiver?
