Going insane with the in laws
I married a citizen (who is currently incarcerated)and I live with his parents who sponsored me. I am 34 and I have to tell them when I am coming home, when I am going out, who I am with etc, they said that as they are my sponsors they are responsible for me while I am here and also as I live under their roof. I pay rent to them to stay here and I wanted a lock on my door as I like my privacy but they demand I leave door unlocked even though my brother in law is a drunk and druggie and is likely to take things to pawn. Do I have to obey everything they say? I thought they were only financially responsible for me.
