    Family case
    I'm married litter be over 3 years and I have 3 years old boy,whicht I love very much and I don't want to be way from him.but I just got all my paperwork 7 months ago.. now my wife is not happy w/ your married... my question is::if we get divorce and if she wants,she's able to take all the paperwork from me w/ is green card,social security and drives license?? And what about my son.can I still see him and behis father?

    You're fine, you will not lose your permanent residence.

    It does not matter if you divorce at this point it will not affect your immigration status other than the time for you to be eligible for naturalization. You must be a PR for 4 years 9 months before you can file for citizenship. If you remain married, you can file at 2 years 9 months from the date your PR was granted.

    Please consider marriage counseling. Good luck.
