F1 Visa to Permanent Resident status
I have been under J1 visa with an exchange program, then I changed my status to F1 visa while I was still living in the US without going back to my home country. Thus, I want to know if I can apply for residenship.
    Thank you!

I have a question for someone who can help me regarding immirations. I have found someone to sponsor me for a green card through a job and I would like to know what steps do I have to follow? I live in an area where the population is aging and most of the workers here are international students with J1 visa. Right now I'm on F1 visa, full time student in college and I will graduate in December 2013. Can anyone help me with this issue?
