Change of status to E2 visa
My question is kind of intriguing and I haven't been able to get a clear answer on it although I really searched hard.

My change of status has been approved by USCIS. But my problem is : my husband is in my home country. Will the consulate recognize my E2 visa given by USCIS and grant him a E2 dependent spouse visa? Or will he have to come here on a tourist visa and then apply to USCIS?

We don't want to send him to the consulate unarmed in case he may get rejected !

He has to submit DS-156, DS-157 together with copies of your approval notice to the US consulate in the country where he is now. He will be issued E-2 dependent... don't apply for B-1/B-2.
