I am looking at a house where the trusses in the attic have been cut to add a drop down staircase for access to it. Does this put the roof in an unsafe condition of collapsing or is it okay if its not to a load bearing location.

During our remodel when we removed the drywall from the dropped ceiling, there was no insulation between the 2x4s used to create the ceiling joists. Above this drop ceiling are the 2x8 floor joists of the story above. The space between the floor joists are insulated with kraft paper facing down...

In Ohio, can a company logo on a company softball team shirt be used as evidence in a workmans compensation claim from an employee wearing such a shirt who gets injured in a softball game played in a location away from the company location and not played during regular work hours?
