    Short and Long-term Disability
I am responsible for managing benefits for a small business of 20 employees in Ohio. With 7 full-time employees. I know it is not required to offer medical insurance, however must the employees be set up for short term and long-term disability? These benefits are offered through a separate provider than the medical insurance.

No benefits are "required", but a firm will have a hard time attracting employees without them.
