    Sample Self Evaluation Letters
    I want to send mails to all the Department Heads for providing the self assessment of their team. Can you give me simple formal format to send the mail?

    First of all, you need to ask the department heads to list the job responsibilities of their various team members. Is that what your mail would ask?

    I'm still not sure what you want to say in the letter. Is each department head supposed to evaluate his team, employee by employee, (or each employee is to evaluate himself based on a list the department head has made) and send these evaluations to you? (Is this a business school assignment or a real-life request?)

    No, if department manager is doing it, then it is not a self evaluation. A self evaluation is one you do about yourself.

    If you just need a already done form back, you just send memo, I need the reports back by >>> date.

    If you are in HR Team and your boss asks you to send mail to all the department heads to send the assessment of their team members then how will you draft a mail.

    If the evaluations have already been performed and all you need are the completed forms, send a short to the point memo asking for the department heads to send them to the correct person/office.

    Make it a reminder that the forms should be sent to X (person/office) before Y date. Be clear and to the point about what you are asking them to do.

    Why don't you post a rough draft of what you think you say. Do not include any identifying information (fake names or just a letter in place of real places/people/etc.)

    This is an assignment given to you by your boss. It needs to be in your own words. Your boss has trust in you to do this job. You can do it.
