Moving out of State - Remote worker
I have been working at my company for 4 years and I have to move to a different state for family illness issues ( father is ill). I currently work as a technical remote worker and I can perform my job as long as I have an internet connection, so job would not be affected, as well as there being a remote office 15 min near where I live, just in case.

My company is saying that there is some HR issues with me working in another state. They already have 1 employee that works remotely out of state and are complaining about the paperwork or taxes , but I am unsure what the issue is here. I would be using my own internet connection and phone. Can some professional describe the paperwork or tax issues with me working out of state? Thanks.
