    Back to Work Interview
I attended a Back to Work Interview and my Team Leader was being replaced so we had a Level 4 looking after our team, who was hoping to be made up to Team Leader.

When we got in the Interview Room the Level 4 literally sat in the corner listening but said nothing. Their was another Team Leader in the room who asked the questions but also took the notes.

    Was this legal?

What makes you think it was illegal?

With today's "sue happy" society, our office has taken a "CYA"policy. No interviews, repremands or even notice of promotion are done alone.

I would imagine it is important to get the Level 4's recommendation of who would best fill in the position.

He was probably sat there so he can have an "out of the box" view of the discussion.
