    Propane Tank
Help please I just got our 30 pound propane tank filled at Mohawk and nothing will come out of it when hooked back up to the barbecue. What could be wrong. What if anything can we do with it? Or about it I am a little afraid of propane tanks at the best of times Thanks for your assistance. Karen

The new style grill have a special pressure regulator. Hook it up and turn on the gas valve if it does not work turn off the valve and when you disconnect the line you will here a quick pressure release. Then hook back up and it should work if there is gas in the tank. I found this out the hard way 4 years ago on a new gas grill.

Slosh the tank around and you will feel and hear if there is propane in the tank. I agree with HVAC, disconnect and then reconnect.

TW and WC on a propane tank [ 1 Answers ]

What do those stand for? I was looking on some of the common sized ones, and the TW was about 18 - 17.5, 18.9, etc. The WC was closer to 48. Most of the places exchanging tanks here only put in 17-18 pounds which is much less than the tank would hold if the WC is the weight charged, or weight...
