How do I get my panel to send signal
    HI,
I have a DSC 832 panel. I cannot get the system to send signal to the monitor station. I have phone dial tone at the panel. When the system is in test and the alarm is triggered the monitor station says them do not receive signal.

Great Panel, Hopefully it has an RJ 31X Jack for Line seizure.(Keeps other phones from stopping communication between central station receiver), and wired correctly. I don't have Manual in front of me, am sure you have one, Be sure Account number, communication format, Central station number entered correctly. Try the same receiver number on a regular phone to verify you don't need to add a 1, area code or what ever, A telephone test set to verify tones are generated and a response would be nice.
In the 832 programming be sure to have communication enabled(location 380/option 1), and might as well enable telephone line monitor to show trouble when phone goes out(intentionally or otherwise(Location 015/option 7).
