How can I stop all the smoke detectors at once?
We live in a housing development built in 2000 with interconnected smoke detectors powered by AC with battery backup... there are 10 in the house. They are all going off right now (in a neighbors house) and if we cut the AC they stop for a couple of minutes and then trigger again on battery. I guess one has malfunctioned... how can I get them to stop other than disconnecting them until I find the defective one?

We took them all out, then reinstalled them one at a time... when the defective one was installed it malfunctioned. Problem solved.

Just saw the Post, When one goes into Alarm, The Red led should show the one that triggered.
