Slow rpm motor for hobby application
Hi, I'm trying to make a device for painting parts. Curently the paint runs, so I'd like to spin them slowly while the paint dries. One motor would drive a rotating arm about 15" long at a speed of 3-30 rpms. Overall weight on the arm would be about 1000-2000g. Not sure what type of motor is best suited. Seems to me it would need to be beefy enough to carry the weight but slow enough for the rpm requirement. Motor 2 needs to be light weight, carry a weight of up to 300g and spin at 3-30 rpm. Cost is always a factor for me, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I read quite a few questions/responses on this site and you all seem pretty amazing in terms of knowledge and willingness to offer advice. Many thanks.
