    Panasonic Viera XM6 Issue
    Hi there,

I have a Panasonic Viera XM6 Tv. It won't turn on. The LED goes green and then flashes red and goes off. What causes this. Can I reset it somehow?

    All help greatly appreciated please.

This is an issue best looked into on the Panasonic site. Try the FAQ page Troubleshooting or Knowledge Base first and if they have a help forum ask your question in the appropriate place. Any lightning storms in your area lately? here's a link for you: Find Answers hopefully your under warranty since they obviously don't want you to know what the number of blinks indicates. That's so you have to pay a technician. But you can try e-mailing them and asking what 3 blinks (or whatever) means.

Unfortunately, resetting is done through a series of on screen commands selected from the menu--which won't do you much good if you can't turn it on.

Like Appzalien mentioned, the number of times it flashes red is a code for a specific problem. So knowing that number will help narrow your search for answers. Most of the time it involves having one of about a dozen different circuit boards replaced.
