Dear Sirs, I moved into a house. I bought a new washer with a 13 amp plug. When this is plugged into a 15 amp power outlet the power is cut. What should I do? Your advice is most appreciated.

Hi, it appears that my pond pump plug got wet at the outlet and is not working, I unplugged it, and plugged in my air filter and it works with that, Will replacing the plug on the pump allow it to work again? Thanks for your help Gwen Zuma Beach, CA
