Replacing the heating element on a dryer
    Hello,

My Kenmore Dryer heavy duty 60 series stopped heating up to dry my clothes. I believe it's the heating element. How do I go about finding and replacing the heating element myself?

Its accessed through the back of the dryer, it is mounted in the Duct work, you will see 2 terminals, with power off remove screws and wires, replace, and reconnect. Check continuity first, could be a thermal, continuity as well, whatever is open is stopping from heating.

We replaced the heater coil, but now it is stopping in the middle of a cycle? Could it be the thermostat?
