    Problems with TV
:confused:Having problems with my TV, earlier the sound went out, but had a great picture, now the picture went, and sometimes the sound comes on. And then the TV shut itself off. And the remote doesn't turn the TV off, I have to physically turn it on or off. I do know it's a Durabrand, but do not know the model #.

Wow. I wouldn't know where to start.

It sounds like you are having major failures in many circuits. How old is this set and is it worth fixing to you?

My set, I bought in late 2007, or maybe early 2008. The picture came back now, and is crystal clear, but no sound. I don't know, how much does it cost to fix? Probably be better off buying a new one, if I needed too.

I don't know what it would cost. You should be able to get a free estimate somewhere.
