    Dish,vcr,dvd,cable to TV shcematic/instructions,please.
Plus no signal at all after several variations of connecting the dvd, even directly with no other connections, acts like it's working! can I just put a splitter on the TV coxial jack for the vcr/dish connection? Cable plugs into dish receiver, and works well, all componants is good condition and previously worked. Also, are this dish remote's typically universally programmable to most devices? Know it's a lot and will explain any additional info in detail.
    Thanks

    Home help - Robert,

HH - Lets start with you, Please. When you say that your Cable plugs into your dish are you referring to a Dish Network controller or is this a private satellite connection?

Normally, you don't find to many people with both a satellite and a cable connection, Obviously, the cable would have to have an tuner set up for it,

Equally normal would be the connections. Am I dealing with RF (Coax)- Component (HD) Video or Composite Video (HD Red Blue Green) or even S-Video?

Are you using a Dolby Digital 5.1 or higher sound processor? Are you running your sound independent of the TV or are you using the TVs internal speakers? Is the DVD a compound unit as in DVD/VCR or are they two different units. Does your DVD also function as a recorder.

Can you please upload pictures of the backs of your units so I can see what options I can use, please.

Robert - I believe I answered your question yesterday. If I did not then here goes.

Input from cable coax to T/M cable box Out of Cable box to IN of DVD/VCR OUT of DVD/VCR to IN on TV.

Follow directions on how to set up DVD for recording. I believe the DVD recordiner are prevented from recording in HD, but you should be able to get at least 720P or last resort, 480P
