    MY AV Remote doesn't work and I cant get on AV2 on to play my XBOX 360

    If it is an IR remote, look at it with a digital camera or your phone to see if you can see it emit light when button are pressed.

    What kind of remote is it? Is it a universal remote? The remote for your TV? Your AV receiver? Is it a programmed remote (Universal, Logitech Harmony, etc)? Please give us more details as there are an infinite number of things that could be going on.
