How to bid correctly for a 81000 sq ft apartment complex totally gutted and rebuilt
We are new to starting a cleaning business in massachusettes, but are familer in construction. We currently install the windows for a major company here. But unsure what is a fair price to charge for final phase cleaning. Which they only want us to do the last 2 phases. I have seen quote's anywhere from .10 to 2.00 per sq ft ? This is a major job it is 7 stories high with 11 units per floor.and our other bidders proposed 25,000 but that is not doing the window washing or sliding glass doors. *** help

Are there still appliances in the kitchens?

When you say totally gutted do you mean that there is no furniture at all in these apartments?

Remember that there is at least one bathroom in each unit and probably a refrigerator, sink, stove, oven etc also in each unit, these will be more time consuming.

Are you saying that you have to clean the windows in and out along with any other glass?

Has all the construction 'waste' been removed from each apartment?

Final pricing is in the end your responsibility...

If everything has been fixed, replaced and/or freshly painted then in this area (where my businesses are located) the competitive price per sq ft ranges between $0.15 to $0.26 per sq ft.

Pricing always varies in different areas and what needs completed per any specs.

    Good luck,
