    2006 dodge ram radio
I've been installing car audio for quite some time and never come across this before... I removed the factory radio and installed an after market cd player. Did not cut into any wiring, used factory wiring harness, just plug it in. problem is that my airbag light came on. Airbag!! What is this?? I took my truck to the dealer and they say the airbag system is losing a signal at the radio... I've never heard of this and don't know that its true, I think that they don't know the real problem so they blame it on an after market radio... has anyone ever heard of this before??

A databus signal from the airbag module DOES go through the radio. Why? I don't know- just something to piss off car audio installers I guess.
