    Yikes! Geometry
    im nevous
im in 8th grade as of now and i'll be taking seminar geometry next year as a 9th grader in high school. ive heard from numerous people that geometry totally sucks and it is extremly hard being in honors. I'm freaking out because I'll be in seminar which is even harder and i've seriously gotten straight A's my entire 16 semesters of middle school. sorry if that sounds like im bragging or something but I'm scared of failure. Please give me some tips on how to prepare for geometry or how to succeed once in the class. i really appreciate this! :D

Start with breathing. The more air in your lungs the more oxygen in your brain, and the better it functions.
It's math... it's not that bad. I stink at math and geometry wasn't near as bad as the statistics class I'm taking now (which really does suck). If you're really worried try and get a tutor or do practice problems from a math workbook (you can get them at bookstores) to get ahead.

I have to ask... who told you it was hard? What was there GPA? Or grade compared to others in the class? Don't listen to other people so much, it will make you think its hard and then because you think it is it will be and you'll freak out (got to love psychology). Just go in and do your best, and have a positive attitude.

Have fun with geometry it can almost be fun if you want it to be.

    Good luck!

You know, my brother went through the same thing when he was going from middle school to high school. He was going into high school biology and geometry honors, and he was extremely nervous.

So instead, I went to a local bookstore and I bought him a biology + geometry workbook, and he worked on it during the summer, and as soon as he went in, he said that it was easier than anything he's ever done.

There were two semesters of geometry when I was in school the first was called plain geometry. I took it and I liked it so well that the next semester I took the second part which was called solid geometry. I made very good grades in both. And even today I still use some of the theories.
