    Logan enjoys taking his dog to the park. He walks down Hickory St. turns onto Maple Ave. to meet his friend, Brett, and then continues on Maple Ave. to the park. How far will Brett walk from his house to the park?

    No idea, as we don't know how long these roads are...
    Reading the map that comes with the question would help.

    Brett house down Hickory St is 450 yards he turns on Maple St to Brett's House 313 yards. If Logan would have left his house and walked straight to the
    Park it was 600 yards.
