    help with 9th grade algebra?
    the lengths of the sides of a triangle are consecutive integers. Half of the perimeter is 14 more than the length of the longest side. Find the perimeter. I have too many unknowns, I think

    X+(x+1)+(x+2)=perimeter
    3x+3=perimeter

    (perimeter/2)=14+(x+2)
    (3x+3)/2=x+16
    3x+3=2x+32
    X=29

    (3*29)+3=perimeter
    87+3=90=perimeter
