When you sit down to study, make sure you aren't getting burnt out. Sitting for too long without a break isn't good for you or your memory. One thing I used to do, is to study for a 1/2 hour and then do ten minutes of something fun, something that gets me up and moving. Like run around with your dog or throw a ball around with a sibling. You could invite some friends from the class over for a "study party". Get some pizza or something, and agree to study for 2 or 3 hours and then do something fun together. Studying with other people can help because everyone has their things they are really good at. It's a great way to get tips from people about remembering stuff, and having people explain things different ways. Everyone learns differently. Quiz each other on answers and if you answer one right, you get candy or something. Make it a game to see who gets the most right. The winner gets to pick the fun activity later. Your friends might have good study ideas too. You could ask your teacher if there is a time you could meet with him/her and get help with the stuff that is hard for you. Then, plan something fun afterward. Knowing I had something fun afterwards, helped motivate me to study and really work hard during study time. Also, if the test isn't for a little while, just make sure you study a little bit every day. Go back over the old stuff every time you study something new. This way, it really makes it stick in your head as you go along. Hope this helps!

You can also make flash cards and use in while riding in the bus, at break time at school and also before u go and sleep. As long u do that it will make it very easy for u to study for other subjects and u can remember things faster

Coloured pens always kept me happy. I would use a different colour for different parts of formulas.

Ok Gernald, everyone who wrote something above me is totally right.
All of those ways work, especially the colored pen ones. That's cool.
But I almost failed algebra 1 last year, and the only way I could pass is if I did REALLY GOOD on my final exam. And so I did.
I got there because I had a "gun to my head" that if I didn't do good on this test, I would fail. This made my dad very angry, so he put A LOT of pressure. Now no one likes pressure, but we all do some of our best work when we are under pressure.
Pressure most of the time is really not the way to go, but its just an idea.
And in my room, when I'm studying for a test, I bought one of those water fountains, and it makes you feel more relaxed. Do something that makes you feel relaxed before starting to study, like take a hot shower or something along those lines.
I hop this helps and good luck on your math test!
