    how do I simplify this algebraic formula?
    x^2 - 25
    __________

    2x^2 + 7x - 15

    x^2 - 25
    __________

    2x^2 + 7x - 15

    Expand top line:-

    (x + 5) (x - 5)
    ___________________________________
    Expand bottom line

    2x^2 + 7x - 15
    (2x - 3 ) (x + 5)
    ___________________________________

    Eliminate the ( x + 5) from the both new
    answers and you are left with:-

    x - 5
    ------
    2x -3
