    York Heating Sysytm Warranty
I have a York Furnace only 4 years old and was improperly installed. I am trying to contact York to see what my warranty is and how do I go about getting it fixed or replaced? An HVAC repair man said I need a new one it is rusted and full of mold.

This is just my opinion so don't everybody jump on me. I have a feeling contacting York isin't going to hekp you. If the furnace was improperly installed it voids the warranty. Your first step should have been to contact the company that installed the unit. I'm goig to guess they are no longer in business. Companies like this are all over the place. They cut the throats of honest business men and screw the consumer. I know from personal experience. Today's mechanics are likely to make more money on selling commisins then they do in hourly pay. That's why the guy who told you, you needed a new unit, did. Unless the heat exchanger and or furnace cabinet are damaged a four year old unit can be made to run. If you have central air the rust most likely came from a bad evap coil installation (the rust) Get ahold of a reputable company and best of luck
