My York Furnace Fan doesn't turn on when I want fan only feature otherwise works.
My York Furnace Fan doesn't turn on when I set the thermostat to fan only otherwise it works during the heating cycle. When someone sets the thermostat to fan only for me while I am in the basement oserving what happened I hear a click and then a red light flashes briefly on the White Rodgers 50A50-241 ignition Control Module but the fan does not turn on. I have a York Furnace Model P3hu (Upflow/Horizontal) 32-104 Mbh OUTPUT. Doe this module need replacing? Or is it another part?

Did it work before? Jump r to g at the control board. If it does not work try hooking a different color wire form the park termanal to the cool terminal. If it still does not work cooling relay is bad, and you will need a new board.

Yes it was working, but then all of a sudden went out ibe night this winter when I had it on for circulating air. I am sorry but I am a novice at this with switching wires from park terminal to cool terminal. Sorry! Where are they located? I just tried turning on the airconditioning, but the fan does not work but the outside compressor runs. The fan works only in the heat cycle.

In the bottom door, of you furnace. On the control board the will be a wire on park either red or blue. Switch it to the cool witch probably has black on it. Place the cool wire back on park. If this does not start the fan on fan on or in cooling. Odds are you will need a new control.

I switch the wire from park to cool but nothing happpened so I guess I will need a new control. I believe I can install this myself as it seems If I take out the wires from the old control and place them in the same label
On the new one I should be okay. I thought I would do this then unscrew the old panel out replace it with the new on. My only problem is that they don't make this panel No. anymore. Any suggestions where I might be able to purchase a new panel that would be compatible. Looking for a reasonably price one! Thank you again for all your help I greatly appreciate it. You were very very help and made me much more comfortable working on my furnace.

I believe we might have a York Dealer in town otherwise maybe I can order the part on the internet. The board again is White Rodgers 50A50-241 ignition Control Module
And the description on my manual read York Furnace Model P3hu (Upflow/Horizontal) 32-104 Mbh OUTPUT.

Joshdata,
Thank you so very very much I bought the universsal board and replaced it myself. You were a great help. I replace the board for only $93.00. I can't believe I actually did it myself... only by the grace of God and you. Thank you so much and May God Bless you a hundred fold.

After about 4 months of use, this began to happen.
