Why is only one duct vent for the central conditioner sweating?
The duct vent louvered cover in my kitchen is sweating. We have central air conditioning and no other duct vent cover in the house has condensation. Any ideas? Thanks.

Too much moisture in the kitchen causing the vent to sweat. Also the vent could be in need of sealing up around the edges where it is installed. It's obviously sucking warm moist air in from somewhere. Could also be in the actual ductwork near the vent that needs to be sealed up as well as there are many joints in ducting that are not properly sealed up leaking warm moist air into the already cold air coming from the a/c unit.

Do you mean moisture is being blown out the kitchen vent or do you mean there is moisture on the outside of the duct work?
