I have a Trane 900 with heat pump. The outside unit still runs even when I turn thermostat off. I have to shut it off from the breaker. I put in a new Honeywell thermostat and it still does the same thing. What's wrong?

I wan to make changes to my aircon of my car I will use a compressor from a window type aircon and used r 22 to the system is this going to work.

Can you take a window unit AC and convert it into Wall unit by removing the curtains. The hole is already In the wall. Or must I buy only a wall unit?

Can anyone tell me why my Matag window a/c fan motor runs backwards when compressor kicks on? When the compressor shuts off the fan slows down and then runs the right way.Unit is about 4 years old and still runs cool, but amount of cold air that comes out now has been deminished when comp. kicks...
