    Where is the reset button on a Whirlpool a/c unit?
    Please help I can't find the reset button and it is hot here!

    Wall unit? If so, I would check end of cord.

    Its not a wall unit it's a central air unit

    Then I would check the inside breaker(s) and disconnects, you may have 2 breakers in the panel one for inside and 1 for outside unit. Then you should have 1 right next to each unit(inside and out), turn off, then ON

    Not having a model it would be impossible to try and guess, but its doubtful it has a reset button,, turn off all breakers,for a/c unit and furnace,then back on

The reset button on our oil furnace needs to be reset every 10 to 14 days. What can be the problem? We are leaving for the holidays and I'm concerned that we could come home to frozen pipes.
