    When changing an r22 system to a r410 do I need to change the line set
    I'm replaceing the condenser and coil on a house with a R410 system do I have to pull new line sets

    Yes,, you should,, doesn`t cost that much more to be sure and do the job right

    While new copper lines are expensive the flush materials to clean out the old line set is not cheap. I agree with wmproop that in order to have a complete new unit you should replace the line set. No use in leaving a possible headache in the system if you do not have to.
