What is the most average comfortable room temperature?
I heard that anywhere between 68 degrees F and 77 degrees F was the desired range; however, I was wondering what the specific number would be. 72? 73? 76? Lower? Higher?

72.333333 or maybe 76.5555. If you can get those decimals on your thermostat.

Personally my bedroom is comfortable at 23c.

I just heard a report on the news yesterday that said (and this was just from one of those silly studys that crazy people do now and then) 72.3 degrees was the perfect temp for people in a work environment. I personally have always thought that 72 degrees was just about as comfy as I could be. Now, you need to take into account that every person in the world feels better at different temps, taking into account the human body, with the heatswings and coldswings, its almost impossible to give an accurate temp that is correct for everybody. You just need to set the temp of your area to what you are comfy with. If you have other people that share the space, you need to try to find a happy medium. Now in an office space, where many people work, you will have may people that are happy and the other half are not. Here's the best solution. The ones that don't like it cold, need to wear a light sweater. The ones that don't like it hot, could use a small portable fan at their desk. Other than that, my opinion, 72 degrees is about as average as it gets for cooling in the summer.

23c is 73F so basically it is whatever the overload factor is wherever you happen to live.
