    What color goes where on a Honeywell RTH3100C?
    I have 6 wires. Red, Black, Green, Yellow, Orange and Brown. The thermostat connection layout is E, Aux, Y, G, O, L, R, B, C. I want to know what color goes where? Can you please help? Thanks

I have a honeywell lr69071 thermostat with e, c, w2 ,r, g, o, y... my new honeywell rth3100c has pins e, aux,r ,g, o, y, l, c(it says c is optional with batteries?. it is for a heat pump with aux... can anywone tell me what goes on the l wire... I think the w2 wire goes on the aux pin. Thank you

I am trying to change from a White Rogers thermostat to a Honeywell rth3100c. The old thermostat has a blue wire on X1 and a tan wire on E. Do both of these go on the E terminal on the honeywell?
