    Using up batteries
I have a honeywell programmable thermostat RTH230B, and I'm using (2) new NiMH AA 2100mAh
Re-chargeable batteries and I'm swapping them every few days. What's up with that? It only has a little clock and starts the heater when it needs to.Is this normal?

Does the t'stat show rechargeable batteries as acceptable? Some only want alkaline cells since NiMH do not produce 1.5 volts. My new CO detector says do not use NiMH.
