    Trouble Installing Honeywell RTH700 Series
    Trying to install a 7 day programmable thermostat
    Old thermostat is A digital TOTALINE
    This is on a PAYNE Heating and Air System
    R
    G
    Y1
    W2
    BO W1
    C

    Hooked up to Honeywell
    R---------RC with Jumper to R
    G---------G
    Y1--------Y
    W2-------W2
    BO W1---O/B W
    C---------C

    When I set the cool on All it does is turn the fan on the cooling compressor doesn't turn on at all.
    Please help

    Is your unit a heat pump. Or just an AC with a gas furnace or an AC with electric strips.
    Need more info before we can be much help;

    The unit is a heat pump
    The unit also is electric

    Did you set the thermostat up for heat pump and to energise the reversing valve in the cooling mode " O "?
