TRANE XE80. Problem Code: 1 long and 4 short blinking lights
One morning about a month ago, my furnace wouldn't start. The repairman came and replaced the "inducer draft motor and blower assembly". Not cheap! At that time I didn't know enough to record the blinking light code, but looking back I think it was blinking 3 times.

Now, a month later, at 6 am when the heat should come on to warm the house to 65 degrees, the furnace has to make several attempts over a 10 minute period before it lights and blows heat. The fan starts up but the burners do not light so the fan turns off. During this time, the indicator light flashes 1 long and 4 short blinks. Eventually the burners light and the furnace runs till it heats the house. There are no problems once it gets running. There are no problems during the day. In the evening the furnace kicks on as it should and there are no problems. The next morning, I have the same lighting problems.
