    Trane XE78 solenoid valve?
I have a Trane XE78. When the furnace is running, after a few minutes it starts making a rapid clicking noise. Investigating this, it looks like the solenoid valve on the gas supply is for some reason opening and closing rapidly as that is where the clicking is coming from and the flames are starting/starting rapidly as well. Is there another component that could be causing this or is my valve coming to the end of its life?
