    Thermostat control
My bedroom has base board heat. It has it’s own thermostat. Do they make a Wireless thermostat that will work with that type of heat? The reason I need a Wireless control is I'm a paraplegia and I get chilled easy and would like to bump up the heat. After I get warn I will bump it down. If they don't make one on the market can one be made?

    Thanks

Just about any thermostat should work and a competent HVAC installer should be able to make it work.

I did find this one here:

    Networked Zoning & Wireless Thermostat

The good thing about it is that it has real buttons to bump up the temperature. I didn't look at it extremely closely to figure out if that's all you need to do.

What you might be able to do is mount the tstat on a board or whatever and make bigger buttons to push.

I'm trying to think of a way to make a large area tactile switch.

Hopefully, you can get the thermostat in a mode which all you have to do is touch the temp up/down to change the temperature. That I didn't look closely at. That's the detail that's needed. I'm not sure if you can operate touch screens.

For example a non wireless Carrier tstat uses the temp up which will bump up 1 degree for 1 hour, I think. You need to use another button to bump in 15 minute intervals or some wacky arrangement.

Other stat's will program a temperature until the next schedule.
