    Thermostat asterisk
    Can anyone tell me why when I turned on my central air conditioner, an asterisk began flashing on the White Rodgers thermostat?:confused:

    Model of tstat?? That way we can try to help you more. White rodgers makes about 200 plus styles of t stats

I believe that when we re-run the program with the correct date and time, if the temp has to go up, the furnace runs until it gets the appropriate temp, then it turns off and when it does that, the thermostat also turns off going to the HOLD state.:confused:
