    York gas heater troubleshooting
    I have a york gas furness. When I turn it on, the ignighter turns red then the gas turns on and the unit works. It starts running for about I minute the shuts down. Have cleaned everything I know to clean and has a new exhaust motor. Am lost now

    On most furnaces there is a circuit board which will blink a code. Often the light is visible through a window in the blower compartment door. If yours has such, count the blinks then remove the blower door & on the inside you should find a key to the code. Report here the meaning of the code & we can probably help.
    Have you cleaned the flame sensor rod?
