    Foul odor? Please help
    [F]

I am 21 years old. I was diagnosed recently with bacterial vaginosis and candida. I went to the Dr.'s, took the necessary medicines and when I was tested again, everything was cleared up. I use regular soap (not bar soaps because I have very sensitive skin, extra dry) I was told that products such as douches and female sprays cause only more problems and in fact can bring about vaginal infections. My problem is, I have an unusually foul odor from my vaginal area and no reason anymore to have this issue. It truly is an embarrassing thing to deal with, anyone think they can help me? Also, my Dr. said I have extreme nerve sensitivity in my vaginal area, is there treatment for this or is it just something I have to just deal with? :(

Bacterial Vaginosis is very very easier to get and reoccur. There is a good chance that you may have it again... WheN I was first pregnant, in bet ween 12week-22weeks, I had BV twice! Go back again and ask to be tested again...

Is the smell only noticeable to you? Yes, BV does occur easily. You may want to try some antibacterial soap to help prevent bacterial buildup.
